Canon

Headcanon

• There are still the rare occasions where he'll shed tears when no one's around.
• As Elef is Thanato's vessel, he's heard voices since the very beginning. However, at that time he has never paid much attention and has dismissed them, though he's also gotten the occasional headache from hearing the voices. It's only after Misia's death that he actually listens.
• The last time Elef saw Orion was when he and his rebelling band were heading to the country of ironware. They crossed paths, but by that time, Elef was filled with revenge, so Orion couldn't convince him to stop, thus they parted ways, and left Orion's impression on Elef as no longer a friend, but as someone who would be a big obstacle due to his archery skills. Also, from a line in Shiseru Eiyuutachi no Tatakai/The Battle of Dying Heroes

  it sounds like Elef says it casually, as he no longer has to fear that Orion would get in his way.
• The black sword was forged by Thanatos, and acts as sort of a link between him and Elef in preparation of fulfilling the prophecy.
• Elef's black sword can sense spirits, especially if they're dark. The darker they are, the more the sword will react to them via a violet, glowing aura.
• It also has magic, though to activate it, Elef needs to say "Athanatoi" [Αθάνατοι] (tl: The Undying Ones). As for what it can do: When he slits his wrist, no blood comes out. Instead, there are hazy, purple balls of light which he can shower at enemies in order to freeze them in place. He can also choose to release them, though power depends on how strong his connection to Thanatos is- in Greece, it's overpowering enough that enemies have fallen dead. However, in any games or dressing rooms he'll be in, Thanatos isn't there, so it'll just make anyone numb for a minute or so.
